Berg Family | “the extended version”

Family is not an important thing …  It is everything

Boy, what can I possibly say about this family that isn’t depicted in the images captured during this summer evening session?   Spunky, fun, determined, great sense of humor, good sports….. basically this entire session was a big ray of sunshine from start to finish!

I have known the Berg Family for just about 7 years now.  Our kids have Junior High & High School rodeoed together & we have spent many weekends camped in horse trailers alongside our fellow rodeo-gypsy families.  David & Sheila are one of the most kind and thoughtful couples I know.   They are down to earth yet completely full of spunk; you can’t help but immediately smile when in their presence.  One of my most favorite activities during the rodeos is watching Sheila cheer on her girls during a barrel race.  That alone is one of the most ENTERTAINING & heart warming events a human being could ever witness!  The love and support this set of parents has for their girls is undeniable, and absolutely contagious!

Last summer I had the honor of taking Bailey’s senior photos.  What an amazing young lady!  This chick is REALLY going places.  Such a determined woman!  Pretty sure she could rule the world if she wanted!  { I am still working on the arranged marriage with my son…. 🙂 Just a few loose strings to take care of… a’hem. }   So when Bailey called and asked if I could spare an evening over the 4th of July holiday, there was no way I was going to miss out!

In just a few short moments with the “extension” of the Berg family, it became obvious; the character traits that Bailey and her sister, Brooklyn have, have been without a doubt passed down by the examples of their parents & grandparents.  There is nothing more uplifting than to see a great set of kids with a family foundation as strong as this one!  I can say without a doubt I thoroughly enjoy my time with this family each and every time I am around them.  Every time I leave their beautiful home I have a smile on my face & in my heart that lasts for weeks!

Thank you, Bailey for setting up this session and for being my “assistant”.  You have a beautiful family & I am very blessed to have crossed paths with all of you! <3
